Marathon Running

Inspired by Haruki Murakami’s bestseller “What I talk about when I talk about running” Prkar took up this extreme sport with much enthusiasm. He enjoys the rigorous training, dedication, focus and mental strength needed for success. Prokar ran three of the marathon majors over 10 months:

  • New York City 2008
  • London 2009, 2010
  • Berlin 2009, 2011, 2013
  • ULTRA – Lochness; Atlantic Challenge, Cornwall; Thames Bridges 2015-19

Trekking

  • Himalayan and other endurance based treks- Rohtang pass and the cold desert 
  • Bike for BUF Sicily challenge – 300 km in 5 days
